Hope lives with her husband and three large dogs on the Western Slope in the small town of Bayfield, Colorado. She served her Country in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Gary McMurtrey
Gary was born in 1954. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1979 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Gary spent 33 years in the aerospace industry designing and manufacturing mechanical equipment. He retired as director of engineering in 2012. Gary is married to Sheri McMurtrey, a professional musician. They have 7 children and 19 grandchildren. Following retirement they moved to Bayfield, Colorado for the mountains, lakes and outdoor activities.
